Actual live party entertainment! Guests watch as the drawing takes shape. I bring my Golden Easel, drawing board, Japanese brush pen markers, and 100lb cardstock to your party. You provide 3 chairs and a small table/elevated surface for my pens in a well-lit area of the room or shaded area of the outdoor area. Usually, set-up time is less than 10 minutes. I draw at a rate of up to 18 faces per hour. I offer a free introductory phone consultation to determine how best to integrate caricature into your event.

Let me tell you how to manage the factors of outdoors or smaller rooms to keep things flowing well. I have extensive experience at family gatherings centered around kids, especially birthday parties.

Whether mid-day team appreciation lunches, Boss's Day events, or team-building exercises, caricature can get the crew to loosen up and laugh together. I also have done multiple faces, even whole departments on a single piece of paper for the company to keep on display to honor that crew in perpetuity. Most caricatures at weddings are of couples. Working caricature into a busy schedule of posing for a predetermined list of photos and greeting far-away relatives poses unique challenges, and I can work with you to make sure you get your turn, and that your guests get theirs. Some couples want to be drawn ahead of the event so they can use their caricature in the party decor or on invitations. Weddings often take 4-5 hours, sometimes a little more if you want everyone to be drawn. The drawing becomes a fun and personalized memento that your guests will keep forever.
Seasonal festivities bring couples and families who want to be drawn in their finery with their dramatic hair and makeup, looking forward to the countdown to New Years. I am available on Xmas Day and New Years Eve/New Years Eve and all other holidays. Holiday rates may apply.
School events mean big crowds and fast paces. Proms feature couples. I move your enthusiastic teens thru the line quickly and keep them laughing and smiling as I bring out their personalities and capture their fairytale eventing for posterity. Depending on the size of the school, you will likely need 4-5 hours of caricature.

I capture the sweetness of young teens and the hopefulness of looking forward to adult life. I can help you work around slide shows, photo booths, and planned moments so that we crystalize the family and community love into images of mirth. All ages enjoy festivals, fund-raisers, and seasonal community events. I can guide you how to place the caricature location where it will get appropriate focus and be comfortable for your attendees. If you need me to mind a cash box while I work, just mention it. I don't work on spec or for tips only, but I can collect fees from your guests if that's part of the event culture. I have a few costumes that cover certain themes, so ask if you want me to fit that theme.
