Gift/Brand Caricature
If you need a cartoon of yourself or a loved one or business associate to give as a gift or use in promotional material or branding, I create an image from a series of photos that you provide. If you are local, I can meet you in person to capture your likeness then create a clean, vector image based on that drawing. I can deliver either a digital image online or ship you a traditional drawing as a piece of art. Caricatures make lovely and fun surprises that become heirlooms that families keep for generations. Comical drawings on business cards or signage can help your business promote a memorable image.
Printable, Projectable, Web-able Caricatures.
Knowing what you wish to do with your caricature helps me know how to approach creating the art. All of the examples here were made by traditional drawing techniques, even if they were digitally rendered later. A series of photos guide me to a strong likeness.
I create a complete composition around your characters that will convey the "story" of your occasion or company image. You help keep the billable hours lower when you supply ample useful visual information and clearly organized emailed info about what you want in your image, the size of the final, the format of the deliverable, etc. I will gladly consult with you by phone if needed, but I find that we get the clearest communication by keeping vital information in writing on the same email thread for easy reference.

Pricing for Gift/Brand Art
I base my estimates on an hourly rate of $75/hour of labor. If I need to buy special supplies for the art (canvas, paint, special paper, pastels), I will give you an estimate that includes the purchase of applicable supplies. Shipping will also be added if art needs to be shipped physically to an address (I prefer USPS for their competitive rates and insurance policies). I need a deposit to start. I collect the balance when the art is complete. If it is a large project, I may ask for installments as I deliver various milestones that we agree upon ahead of time.
