My rates are hourly and vary slightly by season (holiday season is very busy, so rates rise a bit). Travel costs also influence a quote for events. I have a 2 hour minimum. Tell me where your event is located and how many hours you will need my services when you inquire about my availability on a given date.
My speed is affected by a variety of factors at an event. Generally, I can draw a face every 3 minutes (B&W), so up to 20/hr.

Sue was an absolute delight. She was kind, quick, and all of our guests loved her. We had a fairly informal wedding and she felt like a guest. Everyone that stopped by had nothing but wonderful things to say about her, and by the end of the night there was a line for her.
